About Neobea Shadow Cattery

Neobea Shadow Cattery is the culmination of a lifelong passion for Persian cats and a commitment to excellence in breeding. Founded by an enthusiastic cat lover born in Europe in 1972, our cattery draws its name from our first beloved Persian, Neobea—a blue Persian beauty who inspired our journey. Today, Neobea Shadow has established itself as a distinguished cattery in the charming northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
We  began breeding Persian cats at the age of 24 with the acquisition of Neobea from Russia. Since then, our expertise and dedication have blossomed into creating Neobea Shadow Cattery, where we combine our skills as an international flying nanny and breeder with our love for cats and dogs alike. As an American citizen and a registered CFA and TICA breeder, we uphold high standards of feline welfare, offering a PKD-negative cattery to ensure the best for our cats and their new families.
Adding a unique feature to our cattery are the EXO SH and EXO LH cats with dominant blue eyes and the rare Altai gene. Translating exotic beauty with exceptional temperament, we are pioneers in incorporating this gene into American Persian breeding programs.
